Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Glazier Shower Door Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining glass shower doors and related fixtures on residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in glass installation, with a strong focus on precision and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to deliver high-quality results. Duties • Fabricate and modify glass shower doors and frames to specifications Install glass panels, frames, fixtures, and hardware with precision using hand tools and power tools Perform caulking, sealing, and trimming to ensure secure and aesthetically pleasing installations Hang doors, including frame carpentry and metal stud framing as needed Read schematics and blueprints to accurately execute installation plans Lift heavy glass panels safely while adhering to safety protocols Maintain a clean and organized work area on-site for safety and efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in glass installation, shower door installation, or related construction fields Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and fabrication methods Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for long periods during installations Construction site experience with a focus on safety standards and protocols Handyman experience or background in remodeling projects is a plus Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction environments This role is vital in delivering durable and visually appealing glass installations that meet client specifications.
