The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass in various structures, including windows, doors, and storefronts. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision. The Glazier will also collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Responsibilities Install glass in residential homes and commercial buildings according to specifications. Measure and cut glass to fit designated spaces accurately. Fabricate glass components as needed for various projects. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation tasks. Assemble and build frames for glass installations. Perform repairs on existing glass installations as necessary. Collaborate with customers, contractors, and other tradespeople on job sites. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. Experience Proven experience in glass installation or a related field is required. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Proficient in glass cutting. Experience with metal stud framing. Experience with measuring windows, door lites and doors.
