Corteva Agriscience is currently seeking to hire a
  • Global Regulatory & Business Partner - Seed Applied Technology (GRL-BP)
  • . The purpose, to be the voice of regulatory within the Seed Applied Technology (SAT) Segment for business and functional leadership. Accountable to lead regulatory teams to develop and successfully implement regulatory strategies in support of the SAT Segment in Corteva.
  • Interacts With
  • :•+ The GRL-BP functionally reports to, and is supervised by, the Global Regulatory Affairs Leader.
+ Asmemberof a GlobalSATSegmentLeadership Team, the GRL-BP receivesdirectionfrom, and is accountable to, the GlobalSATSegmentLeader for global regulatory strategyobjectives. + The GRL-BPdoes not have direct reportsbut exercises leadershipofglobalregulatoryteams and individuals within R D and other functions through influence,collaborationand negotiation. + Leadsglobal regulatory teamsand supports regional regulatory teamstosupport businessobjectivesandensure the correct implementation of Cortevaproduct developmentprocesses. + Engagesinregionalregulatory teams to support and provide global perspectiveand oversight, and alignment on keyregionalobjectivesand communications. + GRL-BP oftenrepresentsCorteva on industry bodies, at relevant trade and industry conferences, and activelymonitorsglobalpolicytrends to serveasa key consultant.
  • Key•Responsibilities•:•+ Providesregulatory guidance for development and implementation of technical and businessstrategies, as well as product development plans.
+ Leads global regulatory strategy development, communication, and implementation at theSAT Segmentlevel, aligned to business goals and strategy, as well as Corteva R D innovation goals. + Responsible for clearly communicating global regulatory strategy and key business updates to regulatory project teams to support informed decision‑making.

Actively engages with regional regulatory colleagues to ensure the regulatory departmentprovides a single voice for escalating issues. + Accountable for planning and managingthe global regulatory budget for theSegment. + Serves as a key advisor on regulatory matters to Global and Regional Business Leaders and their respective networks,in collaboration with regional regulatory colleagues. + Maintains full awareness of all regulatory projects for theSATportfolio, including critical regulatory milestones and issues. Intervenes for,and escalates regulatory issues asrequiredwithin,the GlobalSegmentLeadership Team and R Dsub-functions. + Supports development of a world-class global regulatory function by sharingexpertiseandknowledgenotably guiding andmentoringregulatorycolleagues. + Wouldserveas Global Regulatory Leader for someactive ingredientsin theSAT Segment. Specifically, this has the followingadditionalresponsibilities: + Leads global regulatory project teamsto successful approvalsthrough strong partnershipswith regulatory sciences andregulatoryaffairs colleagues.

This includesfacilitatingregulatory data reviews, registrability assessments, and regulatory projectdecision-making. + Leadsregulatoryteams todevelopregistrability assessments on third party assetsahead of potential in-license opportunities. + Providesregulatory guidance for development and implementation of technicalstrategies, as well asactive ingredientproject plans and business cases. + Maintains accountability for strategy,planningand management of the global regulatory budget for the assignedactive ingredientprograms, in collaboration with functional and commercial colleagues. + Responsible for coordinatingglobalregulatory advocacyasnecessary to support achievement of regulatory program goals, aligned to the regulatory strategy. ​
  • Qualifications
  • What Skills You Need:
  • + Technical degree with specialization in agriculture, biology, genetics, chemistry, or an equivalent discipline.
+ A minimum of 10 years of experience in registration and regulatory affairs ofagriculturalproducts with proven excellence in problem solving. + Good understanding of the market dynamics related to thecrop protectionand/orseedsindustry. + Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on several projects simultaneously, efficiently, and independently. + Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to manage without authority and resolve conflict. + Dedicated team worker with an ability to motivate and engage. Experience in regulatory team leadership is essential. + Excellent organization, planning and prioritization skills for self and team. + A clear and confident communicator (both written and verbal) able to articulate complex scientific ideas to non-experts and deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders. + Agility, proactivity, and dynamism are essential in a growing international company. \#LI-BB1
