Join Golda Och Academy and help shape the future of STEAM education. Golda Och Academy is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking STEAM Educator to inspire students in Pre-K through Grade 8. This role is an exciting opportunity to build hands-on, interdisciplinary learning experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. Working closely with the Director of STEM Education and faculty, you'll help design and grow a dynamic STEAM program that integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics across the curriculum.Why This Role Stands Out:
Opportunity to build and lead a Lower School Steam Program Direct impact on curriculum design and program growth Work in a collaborative, mission-driven school community Engage students through robotics, design thinking, and real-world problem solving What You'll do:Curriculum & Instruction:
Teach foundational technology and computer skills to Pre-K-8 students Collaborate on STEAM curriculum aligned with NGSS standards Design and manage a hands-on Makerspace environment Integrate STEAM into General Studies, Math, and Judaic Studies Conduct program assessments and help drive continuous improvementStudent Engagement & Enrichment:
Lead the Middle School Robotics Club (lunch + after school + competitions) Create and run STEAM enrichment programs Support events like STEM Night and community initiativesProgram Growth & Visibility:
Partner with marketing to showcase STEAM learning through social media and storytelling Help elevate the program's presence within and beyond the schoolWhat We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred) Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students preferred Familiarity with robotics platforms, makerspace tools, and instructional technology Strong classroom management and collaboration skills Ability to create an inclusive, engaging, and student-centered environmentPhysical Requirements:
Ability to actively supervise students, move throughout campus, operate classroom technology, and lift materials typical of a STEAM classroom environment.Salary:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 (Annual)Benefits:
