Golf Cart Attendant / Outside Services Attendant Summary The Golf Cart Attendant / Outside Services Attendant plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional golf experience by ensuring the seamless operation of the golf cart fleet, driving range, and practice facilities. This position serves as a frontline ambassador of the club, providing a welcoming, organized, and high-quality environment for members and guests from arrival to departure. This role requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to maintain efficient daily operations in an outdoor hospitality environment. Golf Cart Operations Stage, clean, and prepare golf carts each morning to ensure readiness for daily play. Maintain continuous rotation of the fleet to ensure availability and uniform usage. Clean, sanitize, and restock carts after each use (scorecards, pencils, towels, sand, etc.). Inspect carts for damage, safety issues, or maintenance needs and report concerns promptly. Organize carts in the cart barn according to charging and storage procedures. Perform opening and closing procedures, including securing and charging the fleet. Driving Range & Practice Facility Operations Prepare and set up the driving range for daily operation (tees, baskets, stations). Pick golf balls using range equipment and manual methods to maintain availability. Wash, sort, and restock golf balls into the dispenser system. Ensure ball dispenser machines remain fully stocked at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice areas, including tee lines and surrounding spaces. Monitor safety, etiquette, and overall condition of the range. Guest Services Greet all members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival. Assist guests with loading and unloading golf bags onto carts. Provide information about the golf course, amenities, and daily operations. Maintain a high level of hospitality by anticipating guest needs and delivering prompt assistance. Facility & Course Support Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, bag drop, and surrounding areas. Ensure trash receptacles throughout the golf course and practice areas are emptied regularly. Refill water stations and support on-course amenities as needed. Assist with tournament and event setup, including cart staging and range preparation. Support overall golf operations and collaborate with golf shop staff to ensure smooth service. Expectations Maintain a clean, fully charged, and operational golf cart fleet at all times. Ensure driving range functionality, including consistent golf ball availability. Provide exceptional, polite, and professional guest service in every interaction. Maintain continuous cart rotation to support peak operations. Keep all outside service areas neat, organized, and presentable. Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a proactive approach to daily tasks. Uphold the club's standards of safety, cleanliness, and service excellence. Qualifications & Skills Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs and perform physical labor. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of golf operations preferred. Valid driver's license Work Environment Outdoor, fast-paced golf course setting. Requires standing, walking, lifting, and operating golf carts and range equipment. Includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
