Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining an exceptional golfing environment! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the course is pristine, well-manicured, and inviting for players of all skill levels. Your hands-on work will help uphold the beauty and playability of the course, making each round an enjoyable experience for golfers. Responsibilities Maintain the overall appearance of the golf course by performing landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging greens, fairways, and roughs Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other hand tools to ensure precise turf care Assist with irrigation system management by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to promote healthy growth Conduct routine landscape maintenance to keep bunkers, pathways, and surrounding areas clean and well-kept Support seasonal planting projects and fertilization schedules to enhance course aesthetics Perform general maintenance on course equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to implement landscaping plans that improve drainage, soil health, and overall course quality Qualifications Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and pest control Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of course presentation Attention to detail and a passion for landscaping or horticulture are highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to creating an inviting golf course environment!
