Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This role involves managing daily play, facilitating tournaments, engaging with our community, and elevating the golfing experience at Sullivan Golf Course. You will play a crucial role in developing junior programs and enhancing service levels, supported by our core values. Experience Required PGA Associate or a willingness to enroll in the PGA Associate program within 90 days of hire. Strong commitment to excellence in customer service. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity to work well within a team-oriented environment. Drive to support growth and adhere to Walters Golf Management's values and commitments.

Essential Responsibilities Customer Service & Operations:

Uphold our "Commitment to Excellence" by providing exceptional customer service and continually raising service levels.

Daily Play Management:

Oversee daily play activities, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.

Tournaments & Leagues:

Coordinate and manage tournaments and leagues, contributing to our vibrant golfing community.

Staff Supervision:

Supervise and train outside services staff, fostering a "Culture of Growth" and teamwork through Walters Golf Management.

Merchandising Assistance:

Assist with merchandising in the Golf Shop, maintaining an attractive and organized retail space.

Golf Cart Fleet Management:

Support the management and maintenance of the golf cart fleet.

Financial Transactions:

Ensure accurate management and reconciliation of daily cash transactions.

Community Engagement:

Develop junior programming for Sullivan and surrounding communities, retaining a large percentage of revenue.

Instruction & Clinics:
