Golf Pro Shop Staff

Table Mountain Rancheria in Friant, California is currently seeking a Pro Shop employee to work at Eagle Springs Golf and Country Club. The final candidate selected for the position must be able to pass an extensive background check. We are Looking for a highly motivated individual who has Guest Service experience, available weekends and willing to learn about Golf, if not already experienced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The person fulfilling this position must be capable of performing the following, but not limited to: Assist with every phase of the merchandise operation including ordering, receiving, pricing, invoices, and sales Handle customer purchases, merchandise returns and exchanges Present an attractive array of men's and women's apparel, accessories and golf related merchandise that is consistent and in line with membership expectations and rotate on a regular basis in order to maintain freshness Utilize sales reports to maintain effective inventory levels and recommend re-orders or markdowns Investigate problems; prepare reports; develop solutions, and make recommendations to management in order to resolve customer complaints Assist with verifying, approving and paying for vendor shipments; creating in-store and external promotions; and setting prices Assist with all opening and closing procedures Assist in managing facility tournament operations including events as needed Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times Develop vendor contact lists, monitor merchandise movement and maintain files Assist with marketing of golf course and promotional development of new memberships, as well as events Education/Experience Must have worked within the field of golf Understanding of PGA regulated play, equipment and golf accessories Other Requirements California Class C Driver's license and reliable transportation. Must have a clean driving record that is acceptable to Table Mountain Rancheria's insurer Must be able to maintain confidentiality of documents and records.
