Job Description
Golf Shop Attendant Dormie Club Golf Club 270 Dormie Drive, West End, NC 27376 Part-time Part-time Rustic, secluded, and peaceful, Dormie Club's 310 acres melt into the rolling hills. The only original Coore & Crenshaw design in North Carolina features a 241-yard reverse Redan par three and plays very fast. Definitely a bucket list course. As a Golf Shop Attendant, this role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, service-driven environment for members and guests through attentive support, professionalism, and teamwork.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Golf Operations team, your essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Promptly assist members and guests with merchandise and booking inquiries. Check in members and guests, assign golf carts, and maintain appropriate logs. Assist members and guests with merchandise questions and purchases. Process transactions and maintain the front counter. Ensure merchandise displays are organized and maintained to presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop. Handle member requests in a courteous, professional, and timely manner. Assist with merchandise inventory as needed. Support other areas of the club as needed to ensure seamless operations. Maintain personal appearance standards and wear assigned uniforms. Adheres to all Dormie Network's policies, procedures and service standards. Work collaboratively with all employees to support an efficient and positive team environment. Consistently greet members, guests, and fellow employees with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a willingness to help.WHO YOU ARE
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills in daily member and guest interactions. Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Exhibits solid organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandise handling and operational tasks. Manages time effectively and balances multiple responsibilities throughout the shift. Applies basic analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to routine situations. Works independently within assigned responsibilities and seeks guidance when needed. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software to support daily operations. Accurately follows written and verbal instructions and established procedures. Maintains confidentiality when handling sensitive, proprietary, or member-related information. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on Club operations and member needs.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
NoneEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and turn. Ability to visually inspect merchandise items and member equipment for cleanliness and presentation.
