Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support in an educational setting serving students across multiple grade levels. This position involves delivering individualized speech and language services to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, with a primary focus on one-on-one intervention to meet each student's unique communication needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students. Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs. Providing direct one-on-one therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions. Participating in team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with state licensure. Experience working with students in grades K-12, across multiple grade bands (elementary, middle, and high school). Strong skills in delivering individualized 1:1 therapy sessions. Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse student needs and learning environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators.
