Graduate Assistant Mens Ice Hockey Coach

Graduate Assistant Men's Ice Hockey Coach Hiram College invites applications for the position of Men's Ice Hockey Graduate Assistant. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the recruitment, retention, and day-to-day operations of the Hiram College Men's Ice Hockey program. Hiram College is a member of the Presidents Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III. Position Purpose The Graduate Assistant Men's Ice Hockey Coach will work directly with the Men's Ice Hockey Program and assist the Head Coach with all facets of the day-to-day operations of the Men's Ice Hockey Program, in compliance with Hiram College, PAC, and NCAA policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities and Duties Assist head coach in practice and competition planning and implementation Assist in all facets of recruiting and retention of student-athletes to the men's ice hockey program Assist with strength and conditioning program for men's ice hockey Assist with all funding raising initiatives for the Hiram College men's ice hockey program Do athletic laundry in sport season Participate in Annual Day with Hiram Golf Outing Other duties as assigned, to possibly include, but not be limited to other sport event management during the off-season Skills & Knowledge Strong working knowledge of men's ice hockey Ability to teach skills and strategy of men's ice hockey Working knowledge of strength and conditioning relative to men's ice hockey Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented office environment and interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the public.
