Graduate Assistant Positions - Athletics

Bethany College Athletic Department Assistant Positions Available 2026-27 Academic Year The GraduateAssistant package will include the following:

• Housing Athletics Communications This position will report to the Director of Athletic Communications.

Responsibilities wouldinclude:

• Create and post content to the athletic department/select athletic programs'social media accounts.
• Serve as the primary contact for several varsity athletic teamsas assigned by the Director of Sports Communications, including the writing of press releases and game recaps, roster and schedulemaintenance on the athletics website, game programs, updating student-athlete and coach bios, media relations, and production of statisticsat home events if applicable.
• Assist with creating other content, includingphotography, capturing video, writing features, developing and enhancing records and archives, and general athletic department websitemaintenance.
• Assisting the Director of Social Media Content & Strategy with thedevelopment and implementation of athletic department media campaigns.
• Assist withhome game day operations, statistics, and broadcasts when applicable.

Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with coaching, workouts, administrative tasks,film analysis, driving to competitions, duties during trips, helping with recruiting, and creating social media content. This position willreport directly to the Head Coach and is expected to adhere to NCAA and Presidents Athletic Conference regulations as well as the policiesand procedures set forth by the Bethany College Athletic Department.
