RESPONSIBLE TO
Director of Program Development
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Manage Federal Food and Educational Grants, collection of data, completion of reports.
KEY ROLES
(Essential Job Responsibilities): Day-to-Day operations of the Snack & Supper Program during the school year which includes: Ordering meals for the Clubs Ordering supplies for the Clubs Collecting and Completing weekly reports Training staff for DOH compliance Maintaining an efficient filing system Conducting regular Club visits for compliance Completing monthly billing on DOH website Day-to-day management of summer food paperwork from Clubs including: Ordering supplies for the Clubs Collecting and Completing weekly reports Training staff for DOE compliance Maintaining an efficient filing system Manage and administer multiple grant-funded programs including evaluation and monitoring Supervise grant related staff, including participating in interviewing, scheduling, and evaluating Work with Club staff to ensure compliance with city, county, state and federal inspections. Act as lead staff for SAMIS data entry during the summer (eight Clubs) and supervise related data entry staff Efficiently communicate grant criteria to Program staff to meet and maintain all outlined grant deliverables Serve as a liaison between key program staff and Boys & Girls Clubs Assist with development of program goals and objectives Facilitate trainings and orientation, related to grant administration, for new and existing programs and maintain relationships with key program staff Participate in development and maintenance of grant compliance reporting system Conduct regular Club visits for compliance Assist with audits of State and Federal programs Review paperwork to develop a list of corrective action to ensure grant compliance before audits and/or Club monitoring visit Coordinate grant due dates for program staff to complete mid/annual reporting for assigned grants Assist Grants and Development Manager in reviewing grant application specifics to assure compliance with grant requirement details for funding proposals Review and revise educational curriculums for funded Clubs Assist with securing and maintaining certifications per grant requirements. Completion of assigned grant reports (current and future) as required. Assist with Special Events as needed. Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in the social service field from an accredited university and a minimum of one year of grant management experience is required. Must be proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point. Ability to work with different personalities at the Clubs and with other grantors/vendors. Ability to work effectively and be flexible in intermittently fast paces, rapidly changing and deadline driven environment Ability to work independently and develop solutions to issues that arise Ability to generate and implement methods for improving current processes and/or programs
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires a high level of energy, endurance and patience; comfortable working with different personalities in both formal and informal environments. Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment are required. Ability to model appropriate behaviors at all times. Ability to address and de-escalate crisis is needed. Physical requirements include sight, hearing, sitting for over two hours plus per day. Job occasionally requires stooping, bending; some light lifting, such as three or four reams of paper, binders, position related supplies, up to 20 pounds may be required. Travel is required.
