The position will also be responsible for pre and post award activities, including support for effort reporting and financial analysis. The position researches issues, analyzes data, prepares reports, makes recommendations, coordinates, meetings, develops presentations, manages department's research budgets and oversees all research operations, grants and projects, and provides expert and comprehensive financial, analytical and administrative oversight and support for research and clinical project operations. The incumbent will also assist with clinical trials contracts. Serve as a liaison between and among the research team and School of Medicine. Apply By Date 5/7/2062 by 11:59pm Minimum Qualifications
  • For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Experience in budget preparation and ability to use budget templates (such as UBT, etc.). Must have accounting and Excel experience to generate spreadsheets, calculations and pivot tables. Experience in financial analyses, forecasting, strategic planning to analyze and compile financial data and reports; budget preparation based on narrative methodological research plans and designs with the skills to control complex budgets. Extensive experience using Excel, reporting tools and/or equivalent applications to develop complex spreadsheets and ad hoc reports including the use of pivot tables, and other advance spreadsheet programs/functions. Knowledge of federal and private compliance regulations governing grant budgeting, financial reporting, cost-sharing standards, cost allocation, policies regarding use of grant funds, cost allocation methods; federal, state and private grant budgeting guidelines, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of federal circulars A110 and A21, charging practices, and policies regarding submission and management of NIH and other agency protocols and procedures. Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively correspond with the public, coworkers, physicians, patients, caregivers, clinic staff, and other health care professionals. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint. Experience in but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, automated payroll/personnel, accounting and financial systems. Proven auditing and analytical problem-solving skills for the identification and resolution of unique and unforeseen problems in a logical, timely, creative manner, documenting actions so information will be available at a future date. Knowledge of software programs Photoshop and Acrobat. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) to effectively interact with a diverse population and to research, secure and/or provide information to clarify situations and resolve problems. Strong organizational and time management skills and abilities to prioritize workload, flexibility to shift priorities to meet deadlines. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex information, assess problems, and develop effective solutions. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a related field. At least two years of experience performing research administrator duties, financial analyst work. Skills and experience using University systems such as Aggie Enterprise. Knowledge of Aggie Buy, Aggie Travel and Aggie Ship. Understanding of coverage analysis forms and standard of care vs. non-standard of care services. Key Responsibilities 40%

  • -up As Assigned Department Overview The Department of Radiology and Department of Radiation Oncology are together a large academic and clinical departments within the School of Medicine which are responsible for teaching and training of residents, medical students, and clinical fellows, as well as both basic and creative clinical scholarly investigations.
The departments maintain a substantial amount of research, both basic and clinical trials, and provides services for interdepartmental research studies.
