Job Description
Canvass America is hiring passionate part-time Grassroots Associates to work alongside Americans for Prosperity-Wyoming in support of AFP's grassroots advocacy efforts. This part-time canvassing role is employed by Canvass America. Join a dynamic, freedom-focused grassroots effort working to advance limited-government policies and candidates. As a Grassroots Associate, you'll connect with voters through door-to-door conversations, surveys, and community engagement. Must be comfortable talking with strangers, able to walk 5-7 miles per shift, and work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Reliable transportation and a smartphone/tablet are required.
Position Overview:
Canvass America is seeking an energetic and personable Grassroots Associate to work alongside Americans for Prosperity-Wyoming and connect directly with voters through door-to-door canvassing. This role focuses on advancing limited-government, freedom-based policies and candidates by engaging in meaningful, respectful conversations and conducting issue-based surveys in local communities. Training is provided. Some transferable experience is preferred. Canvass America handles hiring, onboarding, payroll, and employment administration for this role.Key Responsibilities :
Conduct door-to-door canvassing and other outreach to promote key issues in Wyoming. Build and maintain relationships with local partners and supporters. Provide regular updates to the Americans for Prosperity-Wyoming team. Meet performance goals and metrics.Qualifications:
Passionate about freedom, opportunity, and prosperity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Conduct voter surveys and engage residents in persuasive conversations to support freedom-oriented policies and candidates. Deliver exceptional constituent engagement and foster positive interactions at the door. Demonstrate integrity, respect, and civility in all voter and community interactions. Stay informed on current political issues, trends, and events. Able to work independently and in a team. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Reliable transportation required. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or related experience preferred. Must pass a background check.Benefits:
$23.00/hour, weekly pay Flexible working hours chose your own schedule, except every 3rd Saturday a mandatory monthly Day of Action is required . 20 hours/week Sun-Sat mandatory minimum , possible opportunity for up to 30 hours a week Make a positive impact in your communityRequirements:
