Loader operation Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Gravel Train Truck Driver, with a CDL Class A license, to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will transport gravel, aggregate, and other materials to and across construction sites and various customer locations. Your expertise will ensure efficient material delivery, safety compliance, and smooth project progression. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to building infrastructure and supporting community development. Pay is based on experience. Duties Operate gravel trains, semis, and related heavy equipment such as excavators and loaders when necessary. Transport construction materials like gravel, dirt, and aggregates to various sites while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws. Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met. Assist with loading and unloading materials using heavy machinery such as loaders or excavators when necessary. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and operational activities for reporting purposes. Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to coordinate material deliveries efficiently and safely. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly operating semis or gravel trains in a construction environment. Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators and loaders. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols is highly desirable. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to heavy equipment operation. Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery. Knowledge of construction materials transportation regulations and best practices for safe operation of heavy-duty vehicles. Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Join us in building the future!
