Grill Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled foods while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook grilled items according to menu specifications and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and best practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality dishes. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen environment. Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques, including grilling, frying, and sautéing. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry. Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely, including knives and grills. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. Previous experience as a cook or dietary aide is preferred but not required.
