In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes and assisting with food preparation to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook grilled items with precision, ensuring consistency, flavor, and presentation standards are met. Assist in food prep activities such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and prep areas in compliance with food safety standards. Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating specifications to deliver high-quality dishes efficiently. Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques. Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and storage protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and exceptional guest satisfaction during busy hours. Requirements Previous experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required. Proven kitchen experience in restaurants or the food industry, especially with grill or line cooking roles. Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, catering, or fine dining environments is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support a lively kitchen atmosphere.
