Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences Handle animals with gentle confidence, ensuring proper restraint and safety during grooming procedures Assess each pet's coat, skin, and overall health, alerting veterinary staff of any concerns or abnormalities Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming environment by disinfecting tools and work areas regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide expert advice on pet care and maintenance Assist with dog training or behavioral guidance as needed to facilitate smooth grooming sessions Support veterinary team members with animal handling, restraint, or other tasks related to animal care when necessary Experience Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures enhances your ability to provide top-tier service Experience working with animals in veterinary clinics or as veterinary technicians or assistants is a strong plus Familiarity with animal restraint techniques for safe grooming and medical examinations is essential Background in kennel management or heavy lifting ensures you can handle large or energetic animals comfortably Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and ensure a positive experience for both pets and clients Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating happy, healthy pets through expert grooming and compassionate care!
