Job Description

Responsibilities of a groomer apprentice include bathing patients, assisting lead groomer, preparation of patients for grooming, cleaning and maintenance of the grooming area, and confirming grooming appointments for the following day. The apprentice will also be trained to groom patients. Responsibilities of a groomer include professional and gentle grooming of patients, maintenance of grooming equipment, maintenance of grooming records, and notifying owners and veterinarians of any medical problems detected during grooming.
