Job Description

You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to help students reach their full potential, focusing on motor skill development and functional independence.
What You'll Bring:
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience providing OT services in schools, including IEP development and documentation Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery Strong background in addressing fine and gross motor skills with pediatric populations Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Adaptability to work with diverse student needs and varying caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based OT services to students based on their individualized education plans Assess student needs related to fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, and independence in school activities Implement interventions both on-site and via teletherapy to support goal attainment Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust strategies Maintain accurate assessment documentation, service logs, and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student success Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student engagement and skill generalization This contract role lets you make a positive impact while enjoying a professional and supportive school community near Wilmington, DE.
