Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' growth and development as a contracted Occupational Therapist. Make a difference in the lives of children by offering essential services within educational and home settings. Your expertise will promote student success both in and out of the classroom, working collaboratively to help children achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure Experience working in school-based settings Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery Knowledge of home health pediatric therapy best practices Strong skills in assessing and supporting gross motor development Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and team members
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations for students requiring OT support Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs Provide direct therapy in schools, homes, and through teletherapy as appropriate Track progress and adjust treatment goals in collaboration with educational staff and families Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocacy for the student Educate and empower staff and parents with strategies to support student development Ensure thorough documentation of sessions, interventions, and progress reports This contract role offers flexibility, a supportive network of fellow professionals, and the chance to apply your specialized skills across a range of service Delivery models.
