Groundskeeper

Overview Join team as a Groundskeeping and Landscape Maintenance Technician, where your passion for working outdoors will thrive! In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through hands-on work with lawn care, landscaping, and cemetery maintenance. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for gardening, planting, and general landscape improvements Conduct regular lawn care activities such as seeding, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth Assist with landscaping projects by planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery according to project specifications Maintain equipment and tools through routine cleaning, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure safety and longevity Assist with installation of grave markers Experience Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, pruning, and planting methods Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers Background in gardening or horticulture with an understanding of plant care principles Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for scheduling maintenance activities Previous experience working with landscaping or groundskeeping teams is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and without physical constraints Join us in maintaining our beautiful outdoor spaces that provide an inviting resting place for loved ones.
