The Pines at Davidson is hiring landscape operation and grounds maintenance team members to cultivate and maintain our campus gardens, parking lots and grounds. Who you are An individual ready to be dedicated to the cultivation and maintenance of our campus. Able to read and understand directions, such as labels or directions on the proper use of chemicals. An individual with a minimum of two months experience in the operation of power equipment. Able to work well with others. Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, which include but are not limited to ability to lift 75 pounds and ability to work outdoors in all types of weather. What you would do at The Pines Mowing and trimming all lawns Fertilizing, aerating and chemical applications to lawns. Pruning, fertilizing and chemical application to shrubs. Remove of dead plant material, including trees. Maintenance of power equipment and hand tools. Leaf, dirt and trash removal. Sidewalks kept clean. Spring and Fall reseeding of lawns. Year-round week control. Mulching plant beds and natural areas. Sweep or air blow all parking areas and entrances. Maintain, use and monitor irrigation system. Removal of snow and ice. Keep vegetable garden area trimmed. Prepare for outdoor events. Trash removal from cottages and Villas.
