About the role Group Exercise Instructor - Corporate Fitness Center (Mettawa, IL) HealthFitness is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to support a corporate fitness center in Mettawa, IL (between Vernon Hills and Lake Forest). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to add a consistent, low‑hour role to their schedule.

Details:

~ 1 class per week Early morning class (6:45-7:00 AM start) Wednesday or Thursday availability Ideal for an instructor who can teach multiple group fitness formats and adapt programming as member needs evolve. Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. Minimum Requirements Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required. Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required. 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred. Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required. Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Compensation:

$35 - $55 per class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
