Job Description

About the Role Grow Technicians perform the essential hands-on work that drives 'Chesapeake Grows' outdoor cultivation season. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work and want to grow within the cannabis industry. Key Responsibilities
  • Planting, transplanting, pruning, and trellising
  • Canopy maintenance and field sanitation
  • Harvesting, bucking, and post-harvest support
  • Assist with nutrient mixing and fertigation
  • Check drip lines, emitters, and moisture levels
  • Report irrigation issues promptly
  • Equipment handling and basic maintenance
  • Weed control, mulching, and field cleanup
  • Daily scouting for pests or plant stress
  • Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and variable weather
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Reliable attendance during peak season
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Outdoor labor, agriculture, or cannabis experience preferred
