Full-time Job Title:
GSRP Lead Teacher Reports to: GSRP Supervisor Collaborative and community-focused, Delton Kellogg is committed to enriching the experience of staff by encouraging the sharing of knowledge and skills through teamwork, mentorship, and professional development. As a GSRP Lead Teacher you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the developmental needs of preschool-aged children while implementing the goals and standards of the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). Duties Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with GSRP standards Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment Monitor and assess student progress using approved assessment tools Maintain accurate student records and documentation Collaborate with support staff, administration, and families to support student success Maintain compliance with all GSRP and licensing requirements Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent communication opportunitiesRequirements:
Degree:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field requiredLicense:
Valid Michigan teaching certificate with an Early Childhood Education endorsement preferredQualifications:
A positive, flexible, and friendly attitude Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred Knowledge of GSRP guidelines and early childhood best practices Strong communication and collaboration skills CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtainBenefits:
