Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Guest Service Representative, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable experiences for every guest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales and customer service expertise in a fast-paced retail setting. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Conduct product demos to educate guests on features and benefits, encouraging sales and engagement. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is visually appealing. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers. Support retail sales efforts through effective communication skills and proactive engagement. Manage inventory by stocking products, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts. Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities. Assist in training new team members or supervising staff when needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a team environment. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is advantageous. Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques can significantly enhance guest interactions. Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail merchandising will support your success in this role. Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and the ability to multitask are critical for providing outstanding service. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
