Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Guest Services Agent - Front Desk to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will set the tone for our guests' stay, creating memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic resort environment where hospitality management and guest relations are at the forefront of your daily responsibilities. Bilingual abilities and multilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to outstanding hospitality. Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, offering prompt solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Operate multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and assisting with reservations or information requests. Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing, and special requests while adhering to hotel policies and procedures. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and effectively. Assist with night audit procedures when required, verifying daily transactions and balancing accounts to ensure financial accuracy. Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience, encouraging repeat visits and positive reviews. Experience Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a resort or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive guest experiences. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests. Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous. Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel operations enhances your ability to perform in this role. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise. Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment where hospitality management principles are applied is highly desirable.
