Guest Services Specialist At Cook's Branch Management , a 7,100‑acre nature preserve and hospitality destination within the Piney Woods of East Texas, you will be part of a mission‑driven team dedicated to conservation, stewardship, and exceptional guest care. As a Guest Services Specialist , you will support daily hospitality and housekeeping operations while assisting with light facilities maintenance to ensure guest accommodations are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared; you will help coordinate meals and catering, anticipate guest needs, and contribute to seamless operations across multiple buildings in a dynamic, service‑oriented environment. To succeed, you should have: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or coursework in hospitality, housekeeping, facilities operations, or guest services preferred 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, hotel housekeeping, guest services, facilities, or property operations with strong customer service delivery Demonstrated hard skills in cleaning and sanitation standards, basic maintenance tasks, inventory management, and use of digital communication or scheduling tools Valid driver's license; ability to work on‑site across a large property; bilingual English/Spanish preferred for guest, vendor, and team communication As the Guest Services Specialist , you will: Deliver high‑quality guest services and hospitality support, greeting guests, responding to requests, and maintaining a welcoming presence across lodging and common areas Perform housekeeping and custodial services, including cleaning guest rooms, changing linens, restocking supplies, and sanitizing kitchens and dining spaces across 20+ buildings Assist with meal coordination and catering support, including setup, cleanup, basic food prep, and supply ordering in collaboration with vendors and internal teams Support facilities maintenance operations by completing basic repairs, reporting issues, conducting walkthroughs, and assisting with seasonal readiness and inventory control Communicate clearly with housekeeping, maintenance, contractors, and leadership using scheduling tools and work‑order or task‑tracking systems About Us Cook's Branch Management operates as a flagship conservation program of the Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation, stewarding one of the most successful private‑land habitat restorations in Texas.
