Gym Attendant/ Salesman

Job Summary Hourly base + Commissions We are seeking a friendly and proactive Gym Attendant/Salesman to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and promoting our gym memberships and products. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, sales experience, and a passion for helping customers achieve their fitness goals. Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a diverse clientele. Duties Greet members and guests warmly, ensuring a positive experience Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently Assist customers with product demos and explain membership benefits Promote gym memberships, classes, and retail products through upselling techniques Maintain merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting Stock shelves and ensure availability of retail items Handle cash, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy Provide information about gym facilities, services, and promotions Supervise the gym area to ensure safety and policy adherence Strict cleaning regimen, daily duties include locker rooms, restrooms and equipment Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or scheduling appointments Requirements Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are advantageous Experience with product demos, upselling, merchandising, and stock management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly Knowledge of grocery store or retail environment is beneficial but not required Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills

Pay:

$12.00 - $20.00 per hour
