Duties Develop and implement structured gymnastics training sessions tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes Demonstrate proper techniques for tumbling, vaulting, balance beam, bars, and floor routines while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed Motivate students by providing positive feedback, encouragement, and behavior management strategies to promote confidence and discipline Monitor progress through regular assessments and adjust training plans accordingly to meet individual goals Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other staff to communicate student progress and address any behavioral or developmental concerns Maintain a clean, organized gym environment by inspecting equipment regularly and ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times Incorporate additional sports coaching skills such as cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (including Karate, Judo), swimming, or basketball to diversify training programs when appropriate Requirements Proven experience in gymnastics coaching or related sports such as cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (Judo/Karate), swimming or basketball Background in teaching physical education or working with children in a childcare or school setting Lifeguard experience is highly desirable due to the emphasis on safety during water-related activities or pool sessions Strong skills in behavior management and working with students of diverse ages and abilities Certifications in sports coaching or relevant disciplines such as martial arts or swimming, are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate young athletes and collaborate effectively with team members and parents Ability to demonstrate proper technique while maintaining a lively, positive attitude that energizes students during every session Join us in shaping confident, healthy athletes through energetic coaching that emphasizes safety, skill-building, and fun!
