Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling and special occasion updos. Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or treatments based on hair type and face shape. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations. Use salon software to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage retail sales efficiently. Stay informed about the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and product innovations to provide fresh ideas to clients. Assist with retail sales by upselling hair care products, styling tools, and accessories that meet clients' needs. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and coloring. Ability to operate tools including straight razors safely and effectively. Strong communication skills to understand client preferences and provide personalized recommendations. Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence with a friendly, professional demeanor.
