Duties Deliver a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and special occasion styles tailored to each client's preferences. Perform professional barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic haircutting techniques. Apply hair color treatments utilizing strong knowledge of color theory to achieve vibrant or subtle results that enhance client satisfaction. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations. Use salon software systems like Square to schedule appointments, manage client records, process retail sales, and upsell products or additional services effectively. Support store management with inventory management, retail sales strategies, and visual merchandising to maximize revenue opportunities. Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling techniques and customer service excellence. Experience Proven experience as a professional Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styling skills. Expertise in hair coloring techniques grounded in color theory principles to deliver customized results. Skilled in advanced barbering techniques including straight razor shaves and grooming services. Familiarity with hair extensions application methods and eyelash extension procedures. Experience in retail sales with the ability to upsell products like shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and cosmetics confidently. Strong communication skills to connect with clients effectively and understand their desired outcomes clearly.
