Hairstylist/Cosmetologist

Job Overview We're a newly established hair salon in Rancho Cordova looking for a creative, upbeat Hairstylist/Cosmetologist who's excited to grow with us. If you love helping people feel confident, enjoy staying on top of beauty trends, and want to be part of building something special, you'll fit right in. You'll use your skills in styling, color, and beauty services while helping shape the culture and future of our salon. Responsibilities Hair Services — Cut, color, style, etc. Sanitation & Safety — Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all industry guidelines. Utilize Salon Software — Book appointments, manage client profiles, and handle retail sales. Client Consultations — Listen to client needs, recommend services or products, and help them feel confident in their choices. Front Desk Support — Greet clients, answer questions, and help keep the day running smoothly. Salon Growth — Contribute ideas, support team initiatives, and help us build a welcoming, thriving salon. Requirements Valid California cosmetology or barbering license Hands-on experience with cutting, coloring, styling, and related services Strong communication skills and a genuine love for great customer service Comfort with salon software for booking and retail Knowledge of sanitation standards and safe service practices Experience with retail sales and product recommendations A team-first mindset with the ability to work independently Excitement about joining a new salon and helping shape its growth and culture Hourly Pay (range includes tips) + commission on products sold. Part-time position available. Flexible scheduling. Weekends are needed.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
