) is looking for Hand Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. You will play a vital role in restoring function and improving quality of life for patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions. Our clinic sees a wide variety of post-op and general ortho patients with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. Your expertise will help patients regain independence through tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients with hand and upper extremity injuries or disabilities. Conduct detailed assessments of physiology, anatomy, and medical history to inform treatment strategies. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and case managers to ensure cohesive patient care. Manage discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care to support ongoing recovery. Work with individuals across age groups—pediatrics in early intervention or school settings, adults in outpatient or post-acute care, and geriatrics in skilled nursing or inpatient units. Educate patients on injury prevention, proper ergonomics, and therapeutic exercises to maximize outcomes. Requirements At least a, Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field with specialized training in hand therapy certification (e.g., Certified Hand Therapist preferred). Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care techniques specific to hand therapy. Experience assisting with ADLs, discharge planning, case management, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism.
