Handyman

Job Summary •This is a part-time position. The hours range anywhere from 12-24 hours per week. This is dependent on the time of year. Winter months will be less hours but get busier in the Spring and Summer. Please do not apply if these part-time hours do not work for you•We are seeking a reliable and versatile Handyman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of light repair, maintenance, and project tasks for our homeowner's association. Duties Maintain condition, appearance and cleanliness of both interior and outside common area spaces such as the Riviera Heights Marina, Clubhouse, pool, picnic area, parking lots, sidewalks, etc. Perform light repairs (plumbing, painting, etc.) to maintain common areas. Perform a variety of tasks, including posting signage, pool chemical checks, making keys, trash removal, cleaning, etc. as assigned. Set up/clean-up for events and clubhouse rentals. Notify the office manager of any potential safety issues or hazards that require the need for an outside vendor for more major repairs. Assist with installation of small fixtures, appliances, furniture, and other equipment as needed Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently Ensure all work is done to expected safety standards Keep office, clubhouse and maintenance office in clean, safe, organized manner Performs other related duties as assigned Coordinate, complete and report on projects and repairs of all common areas Experience Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role; possesses a wide variety of basic knowledge to repair and maintain facilities Be familiar with all basic tools, safety, and proper use. Abe to communicate effectively Ability to lift objects and perform manual tasks regularly Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a positive attitude and proactive mindset Flexibility and adaptability essential Be polite and well-mannered with association homeowners.

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
