Handyman/Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman/Laborer to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks across residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure that our facilities remain safe, functional, and visually appealing. Duties Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall work to uphold property standards. Perform electrical work such as troubleshooting circuits, replacing fixtures, and Operate tools and equipment safely, including welders, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for various projects. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance, handyman work, or related roles with a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of schematics, electrical systems etc. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately to perform repairs or installations effectively. Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration with team members or clients. Hands-on experience with residential painting and general carpentry is preferred. Familiarity with software for maintenance tracking is desirable. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards. $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
