Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Hardscape Specialist to join our team and bring exceptional outdoor spaces to life! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and installing durable and visually stunning hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living areas. Your expertise will help transform landscapes into functional works of art that enhance property value and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled craftsmen passionate about outdoor construction and landscape enhancement. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute hardscape projects Operate heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Install a variety of hardscape elements including concrete forms, masonry units, pavers, stonework, and brickwork with precision Manage site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, and foundation setting to ensure stability and longevity of installations Perform construction inspection tasks to verify quality standards are met throughout each phase of the project Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety protocols Conduct restoration work and repairs on existing hardscape features as needed Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on hardscape installation or related fields such as masonry, carpentry, or landscaping Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, concrete finishing, and masonry techniques Familiarity with construction management practices and estimating processes Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, skid steers, or excavators safely on job sites Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools common in construction environments Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, or restoration projects is a plus but not required Knowledge of materials such as stucco, plastering compounds, glass installation components, cabinet installation techniques, and door hanging procedures Ability to perform detailed work involving caulking, trim carpentry, framing carpentry, tile laying and flooring installation Excellent communication skills for reading blueprints and working collaboratively with team members Valid certifications in construction inspection or safety training are advantageous Join us to build beautiful outdoor spaces that stand the test of time!
