Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardwood Flooring Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring hardwood flooring in residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will help transform spaces by delivering high-quality craftsmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining safety standards on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a skilled team dedicated to excellence in flooring installation and restoration. Responsibilities Measure, cut, lay, and finish hardwood flooring according to project specifications and blueprints Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing surfaces to ensure proper installation Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to install flooring materials with precision Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately Perform related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and water damage restoration as needed Assist with floor care maintenance, buffing, and refinishing to extend the lifespan of installed floors Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, cabinet installation, and construction site tasks Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, carpentry, or related construction fields Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and use of hand tools and power tools Experience with water damage restoration and floor care techniques is a plus Familiarity with the restoration industry industry standards and safety protocols on construction sites Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and cutting materials Handyman experience or construction painting skills are advantageous Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
