Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record clients' health conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Weekly Tasks:
Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. Impact on
Client Satisfaction:
Directly influences client satisfaction by providing high-quality, compassionate care. Builds trusting relationships with clients, enhancing their overall well-being.
Unique Tasks:
Specialized care for clients with specific medical conditions (e.g., dementia, diabetes). Emergency response and first aid in case of sudden health issues. Contribution to
Team Goals:
Supports the overall goal of providing exceptional care and improving client health outcomes. Collaborates with team members to create a supportive and efficient care environment.
Results:
Expected Outcomes:
High client satisfaction and improved quality of life. Accurate and timely administration of medications. Effective monitoring and reporting of health conditions. Positive feedback from clients and their families.
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) active on MBON Basic life support (BLS) or equivalent certification. PPD screen Driver's license, reliable transportation Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and empathy. Experience in caregiving or a related field. Must be able to bend over, stoop, kneel, or climb stairs, reach with arms and hands, talk, see and hear Must be able to walk, push wheelchair, assist with client exercises, and bear weight (leaning or holding) of 120 lbs for short periods of time, stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without restrictions MB HomeCare is an equal-opportunity employer and values diversity on all of our teams. COVID-19
considerations:

MB caregivers always have the full PPE required to care for clients, as well as training in how to properly use it. You will be able to reach us 24/7 for any health symptoms, exposure concerns, or questions regarding
COVID-19.
