  • Full-time Who We Are We are a USDA-inspected meat processing facility serving local farms and customers with high-quality, responsibly processed products.
Operating under USDA inspection means everything we do must meet strict federal standards for: Food safety Sanitation Animal welfare Recordkeeping and process control What we produce feeds families and how we do it matters. Who This Job Is For This role is for someone who: Shows up on time and is ready to work Can handle physical and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment Takes pride in doing things correctly in a timely manner Can follow strict procedures and USDA regulations Accepts feedback and maintains a professional attitude Understands the importance of sanitation, detail, and consistency What You'll Do As part of the harvest floor team, you will: Perform slaughter, skinning, and evisceration of livestock in accordance with USDA regulations Follow all Humane Handling and Slaughter Act (HMSA) requirements and plant SOPs Wash, trim, weigh, and properly identify carcasses Maintain strict sanitation practices in compliance with SSOPs and HACCP programs Accurately complete required records and documentation Work alongside USDA inspection personnel during daily operations Maintain and properly use tools and equipment Feed, water, and care for animals prior to harvest Maintain cleanliness of the animal pens, harvest floor, and surrounding areas Assist in other plant operations as needed (packaging, basic cutting, cleaning, facility upkeep) Standards & Expectations Work is physically demanding and requires stamina and focus Strict adherence to USDA regulations is required at all times Food safety and sanitation are non-negotiable Mistakes must be reported immediately Teamwork is expected, but individual accountability comes first Why Work Here Stable, year-round work in an essential industry Opportunity to grow into higher-skill roles Clear expectations and structured systems Play a direct role in producing safe, high-quality food Be part of a USDA-inspected operation with high standards and purpose
