Job Description
Position Overview This role combines hazardous waste handling and technical data management responsibilities. The position supports the safe receipt, storage, movement, and disposal of hazardous and industrial waste, while also managing detailed tracking, billing, and compliance documentation from waste generation through certified off-site disposal. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Perform daily waste receipt, packaging, movement, and storage. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly facility inspections and inventory updates. Perform related operational requirements of the waste storage facilities in the Aberdeen and Edgewood areas. Support Site Chemist(s) with sampling, analysis, and special projects. Provide customer support, as needed, to APG tenant organizations. Support will be provided to answer phone and email inquiries, and to service walk-in customers at the TSDF and 5110. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required. Input and update automated waste tracking systems for onsite storage, transport, and off-site disposal. Assign manifest numbers, maintain manifest logs, and track return manifests. Cross-check Contracting Officer Representative (COR) disposal task orders. Reconcile account balances and database records with contractor invoices, shipping documents, and certificates of destruction. Develop and maintain waste tracking and cost spreadsheets. Prepare and transmit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Scan, organize, and archive waste shipment documentation. Maintain training records, prepare meeting minutes, and track contract-related costs. Complete monthly summary reports of tasks performed. Participate in monthly safety meetings. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education & Experience) High school diploma (required). Formal academic training in chemistry, including at least two semesters of general college chemistry. Minimum 2 years of database entry and customer billing preparation experience. At least 2 years hands-on hazardous waste handling experience at a large quantity generator site or permitted TSDF. At least 1 year performing hazardous waste sampling duties. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic computer skills with database lookup and data entry. Knowledge of basic chemical concepts and ability to identify characteristic and listed hazardous wastes. Additional Eligibility Requirements U.S. citizenship. Valid U.S. driver's license. Ability to pass a federal background check, MVR review, and obtain a DoD Common Access Card. Current

Whitetail Environmental maintains the government-compressed work schedule every other Friday as a regular day off (RDO). This is a full-time position with the work schedule as 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM every other Friday. This schedule allows for a 30-minute lunch break daily.Job Type:
