Immediately Job Description Head Cheerleading Coach No benefits Paid a stipend one time at the end of the seasonMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred). Previous cheerleading coaching experience at the high school level or higher. Knowledge of cheerleading techniques, stunting, tumbling and choreography. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and administration. CRP and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Understanding of state and national cheer regulations and competition guidelines. Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading a competitve cheer program. Background in gymnastics, dance, or strength training. Experience in fundraising and program development. Knowledge of school athletic policies and procedures. Under the direction of the Athletic Director and Principal, the coach must plan and implement a high-quality athletic program that stresses fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship while maintaining high safety standards for all athletes. The coach must also be committed to high academic standards for all athletes by monitoring the academic performance of team members to ensure that eligibility requirements are met. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge and skill to coach students in specific sports and related activities Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators Ability to motivate students Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required Ability to model and promote a culture of high expectations for academics and sportsmanship Experience working with diverse populations, including students with disabilities and students who are English language learners Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a coach or participation in the sport at the middle school or high school levelPosition Type:
