Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of innovative menus that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, waste reduction, and cost management to maximize profitability. Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service delivery. Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement. Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling staff rotations and managing labor costs effectively. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth communication between kitchen and service staff for optimal guest satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining establishments with a strong background in food production and culinary arts. Extensive banquet experience coupled with supervising teams in high-volume settings. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary restrictions to accommodate diverse guest needs. Strong background in restaurant management, including menu planning, inventory management, and food service operations. Hands-on experience in food handling, catering, kitchen management, and food safety practices. Excellent cooking skills complemented by experience in food industry best practices such as food preparation, serving, bartending (preferred), and hospitality standards. Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
