Position Overview:
The Head Girls Coach is responsible for leading and developing the girls' athletic program by fostering student growth, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. This position requires a highly motivated individual who serves as a positive role model for student-athletes and promotes a culture of excellence both on and off the field/court. This is a part-time, coaching-only position and does not include teaching or other full-time district duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of the girls' athletic program Develop practice plans and game strategies that promote skill development and teamwork Promote good sportsmanship, character, and academic success among student-athletes Ensure compliance with all district, UIL, and state regulations Supervise athletes during practices, games, and travel Maintain communication with students, parents, and school staff Manage equipment, uniforms, and facilities responsibly
Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience required (head or assistant level preferred) Demonstrated knowledge of the sport and ability to develop student-athletes Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and community Must possess a valid CDL or be willing to obtain

Employment Details:
Part-time, coaching-only position Stipend based on experience and district pay scale
