Full-Time Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Grower to oversee our outdoor cannabis cultivation operation in Clovis, New Mexico. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of plant production, ensuring optimal plant health, maximizing yields, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, farming, or cannabis cultivation and a hands-on approach to outdoor growing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the outdoor grow, including planting, cultivation, and harvest Monitor and maintain plant health, identifying and addressing pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies Manage irrigation systems, including operating pumps and ensuring proper water distribution Mix and manage batch tanks for nutrients and fertilizers according to cultivation schedules Develop and implement cultivation plans to maximize yield and quality Train and supervise cultivation staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards Maintain accurate records of plant growth, feeding schedules, and environmental conditions Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations Coordinate harvest schedules and post-harvest processes

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of experience in horticulture, farming, or cannabis cultivation (outdoor preferred) Strong understanding of plant biology, soil health, and nutrient management Experience with irrigation systems and agricultural equipment Ability to mix nutrients and manage batch feeding systems Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) practices Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a leadership or head grower role Familiarity with New Mexico cannabis regulations Experience scaling outdoor cultivation operations
