Head HS Girls Track Coach (26-27)

English Valleys CSD is located in North English, IA, which is 30 minutes west of the Iowa City/Coralville area. We are looking for a Head Girls Track Coach for the 26-27 school year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Coaching :

Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for individual and team success. Demonstrate behaviors that lead to character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment.

Supervision :

Organize and supervise a total sports program, ensuring student safety and compliance with rules and regulations.

Leadership :

Serve as the leader for the athletic program, developing a regular practice schedule, and coaching players regarding the sport's rules, equipment, and techniques.

Communication :

Maintain written standards of student behavior and provide proper supervision of athletes at all times.

Collaboration :

Cooperate with coaches of other sports and support each other in an ethical manner.

Education :

Continuously upgrade knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, and consultation.

Documentation:

Maintain eligibility forms, emergency data cards, insurance records, and other related records. Other duties as assigned. English Valleys CSD is an EOE.
