Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restaurant and food industry, particularly in fine dining settings. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our standards of excellence. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that every plate served is not only delicious but also safe for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety guidelines. Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Help create specials Instruct and lead team in chef's absence Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Ensure all dishes are plated beautifully before serving. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes and improvements. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices. Familiarity with fine dining standards is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences.
