Head of Sales Company:
Howe Farms Reports To:
Executive Director Position Summary The Head of Sales leads all sales efforts for Howe Farms, managing the full client lifecycle from initial inquiry through contract execution. This role is responsible for driving revenue, overseeing the sales team, enhancing client experience, and supporting marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is results-driven, highly organized, and excels in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Management Meet and exceed monthly sales goals through proactive closing strategies Maintain strong accountability to achieve monthly targets, including active involvement at month-end to drive results if goals are not yet met Manage and respond to all incoming leads across platforms Schedule, promote, and conduct venue tours Maintain consistent and strategic follow-up with all leads Serve as primary client liaison through the booking process to coordinator hand-off Address client feedback professionally and promptly Oversee and support sales efforts for Clisby Pines Marketing & Business Development Assist in developing and updating marketing materials and sales content Maintain accurate listings and brochures across all platforms Recommend and support advertising and promotional strategies Participate in and support execution of the Engagement Expo Participate in trade shows, open houses, and promotional events Contribute to social media strategy, content evaluation, and engagement Sales Operations & Reporting Maintain accurate data in Tripleseat, including bookings and lead tracking Track tour performance, cancellations, and sales metrics Provide daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and insights Assist with pricing strategies and updates to contracts and materials Develop and present quarterly sales strategies and continuing education initiatives with ownership Team Leadership Lead, manage, and schedule the sales team to ensure proper coverage and performance Supervise day-to-day sales team activities and accountability Conduct weekly team meetings and ongoing training in sales techniques Support hiring, onboarding, and development of team members Provide performance feedback, coaching, and annual evaluations Administrative & Operational Support Maintain organization and presentation of sales areas Ensure materials and hospitality items are stocked and updated Coordinate staff schedules, including Open House Sundays Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred (Sales, Marketing, or related field) Experience in sales, hospitality, or event industry preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and goal-driven Proficient in CRM systems and social media platforms Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time) 50% Health Insurance Reimbursement (paid on the first full pay period of each month)Cell Phone Reimbursement:
up to $50/month (paid on the first full pay period of each month)SIMPLE IRA
Employer match up to 3% of employee contributions Participation in theOn-Call Flip Schedule Paid Time Off:
22 days annually (vacation, sick, and holidays) Quarterly Sales Incentive Program All benefits are subject to change in accordance with the employee handbook Physical & Work Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and operate a motor vehicle Primarily indoor work with some outdoor responsibilities Evening and weekend availability required Additional Requirement Outside employment within the wedding or event industry is not permitted without prior approvalPay:
